I recently visited the National Museum of Science and Technology in Stockholm, and decided to upgrade our entry tickets to a one-year ticket before leaving. Writing on a hard surface tends to distort your writing, and ball-point pens often give up altogether on such surfaces. Some places have a soft surface to write on, which gives a very nice and fluid feeling when writing, but it’s rare. By putting the extra pamphlets under my receipt the cashier improvised a clever solution to make my signing easier and I thanked her for her thoughtfulness.
